Uh… This Makes No Sense?

image I am really hoping someone can explain this to me? So first please put down any drinks, sharp objects or the family cat…

So lets just start with the Wall Street Journal’s headline.

White House Aims to Cut Deficit With TARP Cash

Now that you have that interesting logic behind you, lets dig in just a bit more. As I am sure there is some logic here…

And Now The Prize Goes To…

<begin sarcasm> image

Congratulations Mr. Obama for winning the Nobel Peace Prize. As all Americans we are proud that our President that has accomplished so much has won this grand prize. You now join an amazing list of people; such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Henry A. Kissinger, Mother Teresa, Lech Wałęsa, Aung San Suu Kyi and Nelson Mandela… Of course the prize was never given to Gandhi, but what did he do compared to Barack. Mr. Obama has ended the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, he has closed Gitmo, the Middle East is now peaceful since he ended Muslim extremism, and his great support for the people of Iran trying to overturn a stolen election was inspiring.

Going Cold Turkey

image I have decide that I won’t read CNET any more. It has become an “Apple’s perfect”, “Microsoft Sucks” and a shill for the Obama administration. It’s sad, I have been an avid reader of CNET for a long time and used to consider their reporting and reviews excellent. I relied on them for years to give me solid information and well formulated reviews. Now the marketing department for Apple is a more series source of information that CNET. I might as well read PR statements and forget about CNET! Something happened about 5 years ago, I can’t put my finger on it, but they just left journalism and headed towards yellow journalism. Now they are just another worthless blog spouting an opinion and claiming they are “serious journalists”. I have to call it a day and move on from relying on CNET. I have found myself only going there to see how bad they have become and no longer as a source of news.

Barry, Listen to Your Uncle Ronny….

Listen I love economics, marketing and business. They are some of the foundational intellectual questions that always fascinate me… This is probably why I am went back to school to learn more about business, marketing and economics. :-) Even though I don’t want this site to be political, as I express myself politically elsewhere, I have to point out what I see as a bad signs from the Obama administration.
