I was reading the news and I truly enjoy “odd” news stories… Along comes a story that should embarrass and make prison life entertaining for one robber. “Missouri Nuns Chase Down Armed Robber on Foot”… Now after you stop laughing, it gets worse….
A pair of sandal-clad nuns in Missouri chased down an armed robbery suspect and helped police put handcuffs on him…
Now if that wasn’t bad enough…
When he realized he had been spotted the suspect set off on foot and was chased by a nun in flip-flops…
On Ars Technica there is a story about Steven Barnes, an IT Admin who broke a few laws. Apparently he was fired (or assaulted) and 6 months later decided to see if he old Admin login and password worked. They did and then he apparently got stuck on stupid.
What you don’t want to do is precisely what Steven Barnes actually did. Once he realized that he had full system access, the former manager turned the company’s email server into an open relay server, deleted the company’s Microsoft Exchange e-mail database, and futzed around with the OS installation one way or another to ensure the server would crash on boot.
