Update to the Free 2009 NFL Spread Sheet Calculator

Update: You can now see and purchase the 2010 NFL spreadsheet here.

Update: Checkout the demo version of the 2010 NFL Spreadsheet here.

Ok I have had a little to much fun with this spread sheet. I have been playing with “=IF”, “Nested IF” and “=VLookup” formulas for work and decided to put it some more interesting use. So I took the 2009 NFL Excel Spread Sheet and had a little fun. Since I am a bit proud of what I have done, I am uploading it and it is still a free download.

As of this post the two files have been downloaded about 175 times. Didn’t really expect that, as I have a pretty obscure website. So I will see about converting it to the Office 97-2003 format…

I’ve also locked the spread sheet as there is just too many formulas to mess up now.

Also, I have given it some thought and will make another spread sheet next year, but for charity. So check back and for some nominal fee to a charity you will be able to download next years. The 2009 spread sheet is still free…

Please leave a comment below with suggestions on a good charity or suggestions for 2010.

Update: There is an error in the spread sheets that will prevent it from counting the wins/lose of the 17th week. Thanks to commenter “wiesengrund” letting me know of the error. He also let me know that you can copy all your current picks and wins and paste them over the new version. Download the v2.2 spread sheet from the downloads page.

    Awesome! Thanks a lot!

I’ve used the program to see how my game predictions translate to season WLT-records (and – basically – playoff-brackets), since that was a thing that I simply couldn’t find anywhere else, but after entering results for all games, the Team Records sheet seems to take only the lines up until 300 into account, i.e. it is including everything up until the first two games of week 17 in the Team Records, but not the other 14 games in that week.

I found the error, corrected it and uploaded the changes. Please down load the updated excel file from the downloads page.

btw – Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

    Awesome!

And nice that I can copy the already set results from the other file week by week over to the new sheet. Entering every game manually AGAIN would have been quite a chore… ;)

Ah, and on a not related and definitely not so important note: In Week 10 you have a Giants @ Texans game in the schedule that never happened. Both teams had a bye last week.

Good tip and I will update the post above to note that… As I am sure I will get a few people that notice the same error.

Oh and don’t forget to check back next year…
