GodLeftaMessage.com – Live
Drum roll please…… GodLeftaMessage.com is up and running now. I have had a few issues and thanks to a fellow KofC member (Scott C) I have been able to fix most them. The conflicts have been mostly around multiple iteration of reCaptcha from various Wordpress plug-ins.
I have been worried that GodLeftaMessage.com would become a SPAM magnet, so I have done what I can to make it hard for SPAMMERs to get in the site, but I also had to balance that with still making it possible to anonymously post a message or leave a comment.
The other big concern for me is anti-Catholic’s, atheist trolls or just trolls in general from deciding to “attack” the site. Though to clarify, I encourage anybody to come and enjoy, but trolling by those with an agenda are not welcome (religious or not).
My final worry is growth. I know it is a good idea and hope that the site grows, but scalability is a key issue. Will get interesting if this ever needs more than 1 server. This is wishful thinking, but I wish the site success. I don’t intend to make a dime, just that it somehow pays for the expense. That can be done via advertising and/or donations.
So far it is just my wife and I that have put up our message. Others have said they are thinking about their message to post. I hope a lot do put up a message that they have received. My intention is promote faith and inspire some one to do something better.
