PHP and Microsoft – Windows Azure

I was reading through some PHP blogs, as I have gotten back into playing with PHP a little these days. I always liked PHP as a programming language and as a community. I drifted off for a few years due to family and work (dev time was pretty limited).

I was reading a blurb on this site about Azure and PHP. I loved reading this line…

So it’s pretty cool stuff so far, and it’s nice to see that Microsoft is actively supporting PHP on their new platforms.

That just goes to my assessment that things have changed in Microsoft since Ray Ozzy became Chief Architect… The jury is still out, but I think these are good signs.
